Wild Adventures

South Africa has it all! From the great exciting cities such as Johannesburg and Cape Town, to the crashing surf of the Atlantic and the magic of the African bush with its great game viewing. This, together with an interesting and diverse cultural mix, great climate, wonderful food, means it is the place to go, no wonder they call it the ‘Rainbow Nation’.

Experience stunning game viewing from the back of your horse and become part of a great South African adventure.

Botswana
Well known for having some of the best wilderness and wildlife areas on the African continent. With a full 38 percent of its total land area devoted to national parks, reserves and wildlife management areas – for the most part unfenced, allowing animals to roam wild and free – travel through many parts of the country has the feeling of moving through an immense Nature wonderland.

Experience here the stunning beauty of the world’s largest intact inland Delta – the Okavango; the unimaginable vastness of the world’s second largest game reserve – the Central Kalahari Reserve, the isolation and other-worldliness of the Makgadikgadi – uninhabited pans the size of Portugal; and the astoundingly prolific wildlife of the Chobie National Park.

Namibia
Wedged between the Kalahari and the South Atlantica, Namibia enjoys vast potential as one of the youngest countries in Africa. In addition to having a striking diversity of cultures and national origins, Namibia is a photographer’s dream – it boasts wild seascapes, rugged mountains, lonely deserts, stunning wildlife, colonial cities and nearly unlimited elbow room. A predominantly arid country, Namibia can be divided into four main topographical regions: the Namib Desert and coastal plains in the west, the eastward-sloping Central Plateau, the Kalahari along the borders with South Africa and Botswana and the densely wooded bushveld of the Kavango and Caprivi regions.

Despite its harsh climate, Namibia has some of the world’s grandest national parks, ranging from the wildlife-rich Etosha National Park in Northwestern Namibia to the dune fields and desert plains of the Namib-Naukluft Park in Western Namibia.

Tanzania
An East African country known for its vast wilderness areas. They include the plains of Serengeti National Park, a safari mecca populated by the “big five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino), and Kilimanjaro National Park, home to Africa’s highest mountain. Offshore lie the tropical islands of Zanzibar and Mafia Marine Park, where whale sharks swim through reefs. We are able to tailor your stay and combine any of the African adventures on the following pages, to make your ideal trip. We can offer a full range of add-ons to your trip, be it a city stay, Garden Route tour, relaxing on the coast or the amazing Blue Train journey, plus much more.
