This unique wilderness ranch is located in the sunny South Chilcotin Mountains 4.5 hours North of Vancouver where there is a dry climate, barely any rain, almost no bugs. It has an operating area of 5000 square km which encompasses the South replika ure Chilcotin Mountain Park and Bridge River Valley Water Shed and has an astonishing 25 remote wilderness camps which range from log cabins on the side of a pristine lake or nestled into the mountains to canvas tent camps or spike camps where it is just you, the stars and the natural world around you.

Regardless of whether you want a Ranch based adventure, a Camp based adventure or a combination of the two, and every adventure is crafted with one goal in mind: to allow you to fully engage with the natural world around you. The ranch lodge comprises of sun room, central dining room, two story fireplace and a large outdoor deck facing the rugged Coastal mountains.

Meals are served family style and you will satisfy your new found appetite on unlimited fresh fruit and vegetables, lots of home made baking, and delicious and hearty main courses. The atmosphere of the ranch lodge is similar to that of a large family home. If you would like alcohol then you will need to bring it with you as the ranch aim is to provide a healthy lifestyle and connection to the untamed nature.

Enjoy an action packed adventure on tried and tested Cayuse horses matched to your abilities. You will receive a thorough introduction to Western Mountain riding; you will find each ride cleverly crafted to gradually take you to new heights, through high passes with 360 degrees views of the surrounding mountains. You have the chance to choose between different packages, from ranch based trips over camp based pack trips, which can be 4 ,7,10 or 13 days long, to guiding programs everybody will find his/her perfect match.Being in an area with abundant wildlife, you have the opportunity to see such wildlife as mule deer, California bighorn sheep, mountain goat, moose, black/grizzly bear, wolf and much more. If not on your riding trips then on one of the wildlife viewing trips which you can also book at the ranch.

When not riding you can choose to partake in a number of other wilderness activities. Choose to go swimming in a nearby crystal clear lake, hike or bike a new trail, try archery, target shooting, gold panning, horse logging, try out the rustic log bush sauna, play a board game, or enjoy the camaraderie around the evening campfire.The Chilcotin Holiday Crew is looking forward to welcome you and to provide you an authentic and breathtaking wilderness adventure.
