Dixie Dude Ranch

The Dixie Dude Ranch is a 725-acre guest ranch near Bandera in the beautiful Texas Hill Country and offers the perfect western family vacation with horseback riding, outdoor activities, great food and comfortable lodging.You can set your own pace and within the package, the ranch offers 1-hour morning and afternoon rides (all at walk pace).   Sometimes extra evening riding is on offer, they ride a bit faster than during the day which is why it’s only offered to adults and teenagers, it’s well worth the extra cost. Also available for an additional charge are riding lessons and clinics.

There are also a number of non-planned activities to enjoy, such as swimming, catch amp; release fishing, hiking, hayrides, campfire sing-along, dancing and lots of Western fun.  Also available are outdoor activities such as basketball, volleyball, horseshoes, ping-pong and tetherball.

Hearty, home-cooked meals are freshly produced on the ranch, with an endless variety of carefully prepared food, which is served in the friendly atmosphere of a big family gathering.  They also have outdoor barbecues and cowboy breakfasts out on the range.The ranch does not have a drinks licence but guests are welcome to bring their own. If you are looking for room to stretch your legs, breathe fresh air and gaze at the stars far from city lights, this is the place to be.
