Tanque Verde Ranch

The oldest ranch in Arizona, founded in 1868, nestles at the foothills of the colourful Tanque Verde Mountain. Its Eastern border is part of the 14,000 acre Coronado National Forest and its South side runs along the huge Saguaro National Park.Tanque Verde Ranch offers the very best of a Southwestern resort along with an authentic Arizona dude ranch experience.

With over 150 well-trained horses, riding is offered every day of the week, both walking rides for beginners and loping rides for more advanced riders. Following a cantering test, guests can join the faster rides. Breakfast rides up to the Old Homestead for a cowboy breakfast are scheduled at least twice a week, and should not be missed.

American and continental cuisine is served, with three choices at every course or a buffet with an enormous salad bar. Wine and beer at an extra cost are available at all mealtimes and the Doghouse saloon is open for predinner drinks.The fully supervised children’s program provides a fantastic ranch experience for kids aged 4 through 11 years of age!
